National Institute of Communication and Information Technology( NICIT) and ICIT Pvt. Ltd. Pune jointly organized one day workshop at CIT ,Changa on September 27, 08 on " Emerging Trends In Embedded System Design & Application" An eminent expert team of NICIT and ICIT delivered informative and knowledge based presentation on various aspects of Embedded System Design and application in every walk of life. Embedded System is one of the most sought after sector in India and there is ample scope of job opportunities for embedded professionals in India and abroad. The panel of speakers included Dr. A D Shaligram- HoD, Dept. of Electronic Sciences, University of Pune, Mr.C P Singh- Centre Head, NICIT, Mr. Nirav Dave-Embedded Expert, and Mr. Ashok Vaghela- Sr. Faculty, NICIT. Workshop was keenly attended by over 300 students of final year BE in EC/CE/ IT/ EE/ stream from various Engineering Colleges of Gujarat. Students gained in depth knowledge about various application and design aspects of Embedded Systems Technology. Also, target students were sensitized on the HR aspects of career planning, skill requirements for better employability and development of soft skill and Communication. NICIT has complete resource and talent pool to organize similar kind of workshop for the engineering students in all across Gujarat.
