NICIT has recently entered into MoU with Institut Superier d'Electronique de' Paris to have an arrangement to offer MS (Master of Sciences) degree under Joint programme.

INSTITUE SUPERIER d'ELECTRONIQUE de' PARIS, a well known institute in France established in 1955 trains high level engineers graduated in the fields of Electronics & Computer Engineering, Telecommunications and Netwoks. ISEP is a branch of Catholic University of Paris & also is affiliated to French Govt. ISEP has strong partnership with more than 500 industries for support in equipments, projects, internships. ISEP has permanent & qualified industry faculty.

TheN ICIT-ISEP MoU has opened up a new avenue for students of NICIT Gandhinagar pursuing the Certificate & Diploma programs to get reduction of fee and credit for the time spent at NICIT.

 

Salient features of the scheme:

1. Courses covered under joint MS Programme : MASTER OF SCIENCE ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION.




2. Tenure: First semester of 6 months at ICIT & Second semester at ISEP France and internship of 5 to 12 months at Paris.
   
   

3. Course language : The entire MS Joint Programme is conducted in English



4. Eligibility Criteria:
   
   
   1. Basic Educational Qualification of Engineering graduate in Electronics and Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Information Technology & M.Sc. in Electronics.
   
   
   
   2. Student has to undergo the admission process at NICIT before admitted its courses.
   
   
   
   3. Should have completed successfully Pune University Certificate Courses in Embedded, VLSI and Digital Signal Processing conducted by ICIT Pune and at its sub centers at Bangalore and Gandhinagar (Gujarat). The successful completion of the 6 months course at NICIT is recognized by ISEP to grant a full semester credit towards their Master Program.
   
   
   
   4. Student is not required to qualify GRE and TOEFL and any other qualifying examinations to get admitted for said MS degree except has to complete first semester successfully at NICIT.
   
   
   
   5. Admission for the course at IESP will be confirmed as per the guidelines prescribed by NICIT and ISEP.


5. Fees at NICIT :
   
   Initially at NICIT after admission is confirmed fee for each of above courses is Rs.50000/- (Non refundable).
   


6. Fees at ISEP :
   
   a)   At ISEP, Paris the remaining course fee is EURO 6900 excluding lodging and boarding.
   
   b)   50% of the fee i.e. EURO 3450 to be remitted before 45 days of commencement of Second semester at ISEP Paris.
   
   c)   Balance 50% fee EURO 3450 to be paid at the time of commencement of Second semester at ISEP Paris.
   
   d)   The fee once remitted is not refundable. (If France Visa is not granted by Embassy of France, the fees will be refunded        by ISEP.)



7. Other Expenditure :
   
   a)   Living expenses in India.
   
   b)   At ISEP France, appx. EURO 600 per month towards lodging and boarding.
   
   c)   Other expenses like Air Fare, Visa charges, Charges for renewal of Visa at France, Charges for mandatory insurance       cover at France & any other expenditure related to the stay at Paris has to be incurred separately.



8. Scholarship Available:
   
   In deserving cases & strictly as per the guidelines issued by the French Govt., a monthly scholarship of EURO 615 is made available by French Govt.



9. Internship at Paris:
   
   Student after pursuing second semester at ISEP under this joint MS Programme is required to complete internship of a minimum of 5 to 12 months at the selected industries working in above domain at Paris. As per the French Govt. guidelines the industries where the internship is being done, the industry is required to pay a stipend of minimum EURO 900 per month. The studies in France allow students to pursue internship in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands & Other European Union Countries.



10. Placement Assistance:
    
    After successful completion of second semester and internship, ISEP will provide all assistance for securing job. It will not give assurance or guarantee of job.
