National Institute of Communication & Information Technology (NICIT), a Gandhinagar based premier technology training institute organized "Orientation Programme for the students of Implant Training' on 5th January 2009 at Convention hall. Institute is providing world class training and projects to final year students of BE/Diploma in the areas of Embedded, Satcom, Broadband, and Information Technology for the last five years. It has to it's credit trained more than 2500 engineers till date.

This programme was attended by renowned scientist of PRL-Dr. Rajmal Jain, Mr. Haren Shah, (E.D. Peach Computers), Dhiren Avashiya of GOG, Yadnopavit, (GM ICIT Pvt. Ltd.,Pune), Rakesh Bhatnagar Faculty of S K Patel Institute,Gandhinagar.

Mr. Ashish Jain warmly welcomed all invited guests and final year students of BE/EC/IT who have taken admission to pursue training and live projects.

Dr. Rajmal Jain in his key lecture explained how Embedded Systems are being used in Chandrayan I & II mission for space explorations and gave a message to students community for developing their careers in this key technology.

Mr. Haren Shah ED of Peach Computer, Gandhinagar delivered a presentation on how traditional systems can be transformed using Embedded technology to provide benefits and growth to Indian Economy.

Mr. G C Jain, Chairman NICIT made a presentation on developments of Communication Technology. He raised his concerns about quality of education and improvements needed through practical training & live projects. He also informed NICIT initiatives and all out efforts to improve skills of students to achieve better career goals in corporate sectors. NICIT has been constantly working on this subject for the last five years and has made substantial contributions.

Institute conducts embedded system design course at Gandhinagar, (Gujarat) for the last two years. Mr. S A Yadnopavit, GM ICIT Pvt. Ltd., Pune explained in detail how students can acquire MS degree in France through ICIT and NICIT courses.
