1) Technical Experts panel of Arasu Cable TV corporation Chennai visited NICIT For training requirements of projects enginners.

2) Certificate Distribution Ceremony for passed out student of PG Certificate Course in Embedded System Design (Pune University) 2007 batch was held on 31st May, 2008 at NICIT.

3) Wire & Wireless (India) Ltd, a prominent corporate group has recruited over 13 engineers from NICIT for their operations & projects deployment across India.

4) Digital Networks (India) Pvt. Ltd another prominent company in CATV has selected 5 engineers from NICIT for their CATV operations & projects deployment in western India.

5) Mr. Prakash Patel a student of Sep 2007 batch from NICIT sub centre topped in Pune University “PG certificate course in Embeddad System Design”.

6) Second batch of customized training in CATV was conducted for WWIL engineers at NICIT from 9th June to 13th June, 2008. Training area covered were SATCOM, CATV, IPTV, DTH, Hits, STB, CAS and other technologies.

7) ATMA (Agriculture Technology Management Agency) conducted training on “Application of PRA Techniques in Planning Process and Preparation of SREP” dated 11th to 16th June-2008 at NICIT.

8) ATMA (Agriculture Technology Management Agency) conducted training on “Application of remote sensing and Geographical System in Agriculture Development” dated 23rd to 27th June-2008 at NICIT.
